The People & Predators Project housed a number of different activities including large carnivore abundance estimates in the Tarangire ecosystem, local attitudinal and social surveys towards wildlife, in-depth interviews, information gathering from tourism-based industries and the development of hands-off wildlife tracking methodologies for monitoring large carnivores. The results of this work culminated in the founding of the African People & Wildlife Fund.
